I'm Deeply Rooted: Rita Brown Smith

I am pleased to offer my enthusiastic endorsement of Dr. Jasmine Robinson, Life Member, for the position of Undergraduate Chapter Coordinator. I am endorsing Dr. Robinson not only because of her exceptional leadership and service, but also from my personal experience working with her as my sorority mentor when I reactivated in 2018 and NER Membership Committee member. Through this lens, I have witnessed firsthand her dedication to excellence, integrity, and the intentional development of all members…graduate and undergraduate.

Dr. Robinson’s commitment to service and impact is evident in the positive outcomes she creates for undergraduate and graduate chapters. She leads the NER Membership Committee with integrity, professionalism, and sisterly guidance. She has an uncanny ability to recognize strengths and delegates tasks accordingly while pushing committee members to be creative and think outside of the box. She prioritizes chapter success in every decision she makes. Her influence has strengthened engagement, fostered inclusive leadership, and left a lasting impression on the Northeastern Region. For these reasons, and based on my personal experiences with Dr. Jasmine Robinson, I am confident she will serve with distinction and meaningful impact.
