This month feels especially meaningful.

As I celebrate the anniversary of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., I’m also reflecting on 19 years of service in this sisterhood that has shaped so much of my life.

During this campaign season, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with sorors across the region. What continues to stand out most is hearing the voices of our undergraduate members, connecting with them to help them thrive within their chapters. Their passion, ideas, and honesty remind me that they are not just the future of our organization—they are an important part of its present.

Listening to them has kept me rooted in sisterhood—grounded in the belief that leadership is about showing up, listening with intention, and creating space for every member to thrive.

After 19 years, I remain grateful for the opportunity to serve and proud to continue doing the work alongside the incredible women of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc..
