There is something powerful about coming home and during Founders’ Month, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. made that invitation loud and clear through the Home for the Holidays (Welcome Home) Campaign.
Launched by the International Membership Committee lead by Madam 1st Grand Basileus Moore , this national initiative was designed to celebrate and welcome back our Captivating, Notable, Sophisticated, Super, and Mighty Sorors who are ready to reactivate, reconnect, and share their gifts once again with our beloved sisterhood and the communities we serve.
A Celebration of Return and Renewal
From July 1, 2024 through January 31, 2025, any Soror who reactivated her membership during the campaign period was entered into a drawing for exciting incentives, including:
2026 Boule Registration
$250 Gift Card
$100 Gift Card
Recognizing that reclamation is truly a collective effort, currently active Sorors who assisted in welcoming sisters back home were also acknowledged and entered for opportunities to win prizes.
Honoring Commitment to the Sisterhood
As a meaningful symbol of rededication, every Soror who reactivated during the campaign received a specially designed Welcome Home pin — a reminder that Sigma is always home. To participate, reactivating members were required to be financial at all levels and complete the official Welcome Home Campaign form.
Notable Representation on the National Stage
The Northeastern Region was proudly represented during the national Welcome Home Campaign webinar by Dr. Jasmine Robinson, who shared the region’s commitment to intentional reclamation, member support, and sustained engagement. Her participation reflected the Notable Northeastern Region’s alignment with international priorities and its ongoing dedication to strengthening sisterhood across all stages of membership.
Always a Place at Home
The Welcome Home Campaign served as a powerful reminder that no matter the journey, Sigma Gamma Rho remains a place of belonging, growth, and purpose. By opening our arms and hearts to returning Sorors, we continue to build a stronger, more connected sisterhood.
Together, we will continue to welcome Sorors home — and together, we will achieve GREATER.
