There are moments in leadership when you pause not because you are uncertain, but because you are deeply aware of the responsibility before you. This is one of those moments for me.
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has shaped my life for more than 18 years. From my undergraduate initiation at the University of Connecticut to becoming a Life Member, helping to reactivate my chapter after seven years, and serving as Northeastern Region Membership Chair, this sisterhood has continuously poured into me. Every role I have held, every Soror who has mentored me, and every undergraduate I’ve had the privilege to support has prepared me for this season.
It is with gratitude and humility that I stand as a candidate for Undergraduate Chapter Coordinator grounded in experience, guided by purpose, and committed to service.
A Platform Rooted in Experience
My platform, Rooted in Sisterhood, Rising in Purpose, is not built on theory. It is built on lived Sigma experience on listening, learning, leading, and serving at multiple levels of our sorority. It reflects what I know to be true: our undergraduates deserve leadership that is present, intentional, and invested in their holistic success.
At the heart of this platform are three interconnected pillars Rise, Connect, and Thrive with connection serving as the common thread that binds them all.
Rise: Preparing Undergraduates to Lead with Confidence
Rising in purpose means ensuring undergraduates are equipped to lead with confidence academically, professionally, and within Sigma. Through leadership development, officer training, and intentional preparation for life beyond the chapter, my focus is on building leaders who are ready for what’s next.
I would love to connect with your chapter to discuss leadership development and how we can better support your undergraduate leaders.
Connect: Strengthening the Bonds That Sustain Us
Connection is the heart of this platform. Strong sisterhood requires intentional spaces for mentorship, collaboration, and honest conversation. Every undergraduate Soror deserves to feel seen, supported, and valued.
Thrive: Building Chapters That Last
Thriving chapters are sustainable, balanced, and supported. By focusing on wellness, strategic planning, advisor support, and chapter stability, we create environments where undergraduates can fully engage and grow.
Moving Forward—Together
This campaign is about purpose, presence, and partnership. I am committed to listening, learning, and walking alongside our undergraduate Sorors as we strengthen chapters across the Northeastern Region.
If your chapter would like to schedule time to connect, I would be honored to meet with you.
Let’s remain Rooted in Sisterhood and Rise in Purpose together.
